We are back in Walla Walla and mid move. I went and checked out the house in Dayton and wheew it is DIRTY!!! I went to clean it before we started moving stuff in.... lets just say I had to get some stronger chemicals! YUCK HUH! But all in all its not as bad as I remembered it, I'm aware I've been spoiled by my hubby with nice homes so this one is just fine but nothing fabulous. I'll post some moving pictures later.
As for the training for the half marathon, its going good I've lost some poundage WHOOO!! I still have a little further to go, but I feel healthy and good. I was super spoiled by family while in Idaho and I was able to go jogging alone almost everyday... man its so much easier without the kids in the stroller. This week is super crazy with the move and training I'm just trying to stay sane. My miles go up quite a bit this week so a little nervous but motivated all the same. A question for Nicole and Becca, were you guys a little freaked out about the race? I'm a little scared, is that normal?
Well back to packing...

While I've never run a 1/2 marathon (and never plan to) I would say it's totally normal to be scared! When they told us we had to run a mile at bootcamp I literally almost cried. My nose started burning and the whole nine yards! Congrats on the weight loss! I've hit a 2 week plateau and I'm going insane. Oh well a few more weeks of eating rabbit food and the scale will start moving again, right? Good luck with the move!
Man, you guys have a crazy life right now. I am glad you were able to keep up on the training though. Running without the stroller is soo different! Hope packing continues to go well, and the house is nice and clean for you. Let us know which day you need help taking everything out!
Chy! Your life really is so crazy! I can't believe you are moving again...so soon too! And how lame that YOU have to do all the yucky cleaning! Oh, I do not wish to be in your position right now but I'll be there in a month!
As for the half. You are going to do awesome! I'm so excited to hear all about it. I'm so glad you were able to keep on training. That's huge. Nervous? Um, yeah! Especially since almost all of my training was on a treadmill and not on streets! If you can listen to an iPod or MP3 player or something...that will help. I found running to music made it go by quicker (if that's possible :)). Get into a zone. Let your thoughts just wander away from what you are doing. After the first 3-4 miles you'll get into a rhythm. Remember: It's not a race! If you start feeling super tired...SLOW DOWN! There is for sure no shame in that! You are really going to do awesome AND you have people running it with you so that will help ease the scariness when they are there! I'm so excited to hear how it all goes! Good Luck moving too!
Good for you girl! Seriously motivating to get rid of the post baby fun. Moving sucks, I hear ya!
